Layered Stenciling - Summer Card for a Friend

 Hello everyone!

Today, I want to share a colorful summer card with cute big shells. I used the Waffle Flower Seasnail Stencil to create the focal point on the card. It's only one stencil, but it has five layers of details to help you create a dimensional look of seashells.

As for a card background, I took A2 size turquoise color cardstock and ran it through my die-cutting machine with the Wave Texture Die. I cut out a sentiment with the Oversized Beach Word Die. I embellished the card with the smaller seashells from -
Seashells Die
 and with white enamel dots.

The Wave Texture Die is a vertical A2 size die, but our texture dies don't have a cut line on borders, so you can use it for horizontal cards, too; simply cut it twice.

How to make that is shown in this short video - Waffle Flower YouTube.

Waffle Flower May release Blog Hop

 Hello everyone!

Are you ready for beach season? We are, and we want to share with you beach vibes and the feeling of the sea breeze on your face. :) The Waffle Flower May release is here, so let's dive in!

For my first card, I used new Seashell dies and Block stencil for the Postage collage Die. Now we have a regular A2 size block stencil to color the inner space of the stamps, as we have for every other Postage Collage Size dies.

The gift with purchase this month is a small Fries die I used on my next card with the fun Seagull Die. Find more details on how to receive it on Waffle Flower website.

The seagull die pairs with the Inquisitive Seagulls Stamp Set. This set includes funny sentiments and a special texture stamp to create sand on the card.

How fun are they?
I used a Seafoam stencil to create a water effect on this card. I applied light blue ink on a white cardstock through this stencil, then I rotated the stencil 180 degrees and applied ink again. I cut out the card panel with one of  Wavy Borders Die.

Also, this cute seagull you can find on our new Postage Collage Stencil Set - Beach Days.

I used Postage Collage Beach Days Stamp Set to stamp with the black ink around the diecuts.

Here is another happy seagull with his fries, perfect for a fun birthday card :) I used Happy Seagull Die, Inquisitive Seagulls Stamp SetSeafoam stencil, and Wavy Borders Die.

In this die set, you will find another small die to use with the basket - fishes :) You can also put inside small shells from the Seashells Die set

Those small shells are perfect to interest the card backgrounds. I cut out a white panel using Happy Waves Panel Die and foam mount it over light blue glitter cardstock. The Oversized Beach Word Die was a perfect match for this card.

Here is another card focusing on the card background. I used Seafoam stencil with blue ink on the light blue cardstock. I cut out the island with the scissors from kraft cardstock and sma all the umbrella using Beach Umbrella Die-n-stencil.

Last but not least, we have a special edition to our Postage Collage family: the Postage Collage 4th of July Stencil and Postage Collage 4th of July Stamp Set.

Waffle Flower March release + Spring SALE

 Hello everyove!

This month's Waffle Flower Release is bursting with sweetness, featuring adorable strawberries (stamp, dies and stencils) and some exciting new additions like the Gingham Paper Pad!

I'm thrilled to share that this is my very first paper pad design, and I couldn't be more excited about it. Each pattern is filled with charm and sweetness, making it perfect for adding a delightful touch to all your crafting projects!

For my first card I used Strawberries Die set. Cutting out each element from colored cardstock, I added some charming shading using Distress ink and my trusty Waffle Flower Shader brushes.
I added texture to the pink cardstock using Sweet Plaid Texture Die and I decorated the card with some super cute Candy dots in vibrant green and red colors. It's a berry sweet creation that's sure to bring a smile!

And on the next card I paired the Strawberry die cuts with the cute plates from Sweet Plates Die. I used paper sheet from  Gingham Paper Pad to create a tablecloth on the card.

On this card, I paired the Sweet Plates Sentiments with the Plate Die cut, and they worked together like a dream! To complement the charming sentiments, I created a rustic woodgrain background using the Wood Grain Stamp Set and some rich brown ink on kraft cardstock.

Next, I'm excited to share a few cards featuring the delightful Strawberries Background Stencil. This 4-layer stencil makes it incredibly easy to create stunning backgrounds with beautiful strawberry motifs.

Another delightful addition to this release is the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set, featuring a beautiful stem adorned with flowers and strawberries. Available as both a stamp and foil plate, it comes with a matching die and coloring stencil for effortless crafting fun.

On the example above, I stamped the image using black Versamark ink and colored it using the matching stencil and Distress Inks. For the sample below, I heat embossed the image onto vellum and used alcohol-based Copic markers for coloring.

I couldn't resist stamping the entire background with this beautiful image.

And we have another background die -
Sweet Plaid Panel Die that can be paired with
Sweet Plaid Texture Die and some of the paper from Gingham Paper Pad! Take a closer look on it in short clip HERE (Waffle Flower Crafts Instagram account)

I cut out the Sweet Plaid Panel die from white cardstock and placed it on the Gingham Paper Sheet. For my focal point, I used the Sweet Strawberry Foil Plate and gold foil.

Lucky Postage Collage Card Distress ink Combo

 Hello everyone!

For a popular demand let me share my favorite color combo for the  Postage Collage Lucky Stencil Trio.

I cut out the Postage Collage panel from a white cardstock and I apllied Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass ink throuth the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil. I applied the blue ink with a light hand to create a soft background, ensuring that other ink colors would stay bright with minimal color mixing (we all know what happens when blue and yellow mix – hello, green!)

For this card I used Distress inks and VersaFine Black ink for stamping details.

Other supplies: JJ's Rainbows Paper Pad (card background), White gel pen, White texture paste for Clouds.

Waffle Flower February release

Hello everyone! Let's celebrate our new Lucky release at Waffle Flower Crafts! This month we have a new addition to my Postage Collage Colection - new stencils for A2 die plus more fun products!

I created a couple of cards using the Postage Collage Lucky Stencil Trio in different colors. I combined the stenciled images with the matching Postage Collage Lucky Stamp Set and a big bold sentiment die - Oversized Lucky Print Die.

The new Postage Collage Lucky Stencil Trio pairs perfectly with the rainbow pattern paper from JJ's Rainbow Paper Pad.

Another delightful addition to our February release is the Shamrock Guy die, making it a perfect choice for adding charm to your lucky-themed cards!

For my next card I placed the Shamrock Guy  die cut over the die cut panel, I cut it out using Sparkles Panel Die. I decorated  the card with a few die-cut Clover leaves, enhancing them with a touch of dark green ink for added depth and vibrancy.

Also I used a round stamp from Postage Collage Lucky Stamp Set to create a big lucky coins :)

Next I want to show you a few cards with a Pop-up Clover Panel Die and matching stencil Clover Background Stencil

Of Course you can use the Clover Background Stencil  separately to create one layer card backgrounds.

I absolutely love how you can choose to keep the background flat or pop up the leaves with Pop-up Panel dies, adding that extra touch of dimension to your card. So much fun to play around with.

Another fantastic feature of the Pop-up Clover Panel Die is the hidden four-leaf clover amidst the regular clover leaves in the pattern. It brings an extra dash of luck to the design :), and you can even make it a focal point by coloring it differently from the other leaves. How fun is that?

Thanks for stopping by!

Waffle Flower January release

Hello everyone!

This month we have new additions to the Postage Collage Collection as well as more fun dies! I prepared a lot of cute cards to share with you and, ofcourse, GIVEAWAY! See the details below.

So, we have added such new sizes to the Postage Collage Collection + Color Block stencils: A6, A7, Mini Slimline, Slimline. Please note all sizes are US sizes. More information about card sizing you can find in this video - Popular Cardmaking Sizes & Nesting Dies by Waffle Flower

Here is the biggest Postage Collage die we have - A7 size. It works with bigger images and die cuts, like Paws UP Die. For this card I used a class Postage Collage Stamp and Purrfect Sentiments Stamp set (in the left). To color the Postage collage A7 die cut I used matching Postage Collage A7 Blocks Stencil.

Next one is Postage Collage A6 Die. I used Postage Collage A6 Blocks Stencil to create a vibrant background for my cat and books die cuts.

Here are A6 and A7 Postage collage die cuts to compare the size.

I love how juicy this card looks with help og clear embossing powder.

Now we have a Postage die for my favorite card format - Slimline. I adore the slimline cards and how differently they look.

And ofcourse here is a Mini Slimline card! I made a winter night scene on it using Distress Inks and Winter View Stamp Set.

Another fun die set in this release is The View Die. I made a couple of cute winter scene cards with it. Also I used the Winter View Stamp Set and Winter View Elements Die for my first card.

For this card I used Snowboard Die-n-stencil to finish the winter scene.

How cute are those tiny deers?

If you have snowbords you need to use a gondola to have fun on the mountain :) For my next cards I used a new Gondola Die with some regular red and gold mirror cardstock.

I hope you get inspired and will create more winter cars this season! :)
